A Newport summer wedding — a candlelit ceremony at Our Lady of Mercy Chapel, golden-hour portraits above Narragansett Bay, and an oceanfront celebration at OceanCliff that danced well into the night.

On Friday, June 19, 2026, Caite and Sean were married in Newport, Rhode Island — a classic summer celebration in black, white, and greenery. The day began with the bridal party getting ready at the Newport Beach Hotel & Suites, then moved to a candlelit Catholic ceremony at Our Lady of Mercy Chapel at Salve Regina, beneath soaring wood beams and stained glass. In a tradition the couple held close, Sean walked his mother down the aisle, and Caite carried her late grandmother's veil — small details that made the morning feel like family.
After a ribbon-wand send-off on the chapel steps, the celebration moved to OceanCliff, the oceanfront mansion on Newport's Ridge Road. Golden-hour portraits unfolded on the lawn above Narragansett Bay, and roughly 160 guests filled a ballroom of floor-to-ceiling windows for cocktails, dinner, and a first dance to "Home." The night ended the way the best ones do — a packed floor, glow sticks in the air, and a couple who never stopped smiling.
