On Wednesday, July 3, 2024, Jess and Brett were married at OceanCliff, the oceanfront mansion on Newport's Ridge Road — a Fourth-of-July-weekend celebration dressed in a blue-and-white summer palette, from the navy-and-gold invitation suite to the blue hydrangeas that framed the whole day. After getting ready, Brett met Jess for a first look on the drive beneath the mansion's stone arch, then read his private vows to her before the ceremony.
The couple were married on the lawn under a floral arbor at the water's edge, with Narragansett Bay behind them and the ceremony officiated by the groom's father. Golden-hour portraits gave way to cocktails and dinner in the bay-view ballroom, a red-velvet cake, and a first dance framed by the mansion's tall windows.
