When Mat locked in this venue he told me that he had imagined getting married here for years. The estate belongs to a client of his right of highway 127 in Manchester by the Sea. When I arrived to the venue I was stunned.
An absolutely gorgeous estate with manicured lawns and gardens overlooking a small private beach right on the Atlantic Ocean. It was the perfect spot on the most perfect August day for a small gathering of close friends and family for a wedding.
I arrived to the venue first which gave me lots of time to explore the grounds. Kayla was next to arrive with her mom and bridal party to finish getting ready upstairs. While Kayla's finishing touches were happening I caught Mat outside handwriting his vows from his phone to notecards - which the sentimental part of me absolutely loves. That is something Mat can hold onto forever.
Kayla was then ready to get into her dress and see her father. He greeted Kayla was a gift and shared a beautiful moment with one another.
The ceremony was in the main garden with a beautiful arbor and floral arrangement from Beach Plum Flower Shop sitting center. In attendance were only their closest friends and family due to the restrictions from this year. They had planned to video call some family who couldn't attend and after some technical difficulties to connect to FaceTime offered up my phone that somehow had enough service!
After the ceremony we enjoyed some quiet moments on the beach, some delicious appetizers and champagne all while taking in an unbelievable sunset.
