The coastline of New England is absolutely one of my favorite parts. It was exploring the coastlines that I learned to love and appreciate photography and now I love coming back with couples to explore those very places.
Rhode Island offers some of the most unique and beautiful wedding venues out there. From Newport to Westerly and Charlestown, there is no shortage of stunning wedding spaces.
Rosecliff
An absolute Rhode Island wedding classic is the Rosecliff mansion along Newport's cliff-walk. Rosecliff is backed up to the cliff-walk separated by a sprawling green lawn. Just beneath the rocky cliffs is the cold shores of the Atlantic Ocean. A truly stunning Newport wedding venue.
The Breakers
While quite literally in the same neighborhood as Rosecliff, The Breakers is an equally breathtaking venue. Just a mile or so down the cliff-walk from earlier we have The Breakers. A truly impressive estate all around from the mansion to the surrounding grounds and gardens. A wedding at The Breakers might as well be a Gatsby party.
OceanCliff
Moving over to the other side of the island of Newport you'll find OceanCliff. This beautiful, warm toned stone mansion sits on a gorgeous estate that touches the calm shores of Castle Hill Cove just behind. While beautiful from the front, the back lawn of OceanCliff is truly a wedding experience of your dreams. Surrounded by friends, family, greenery and the ocean.
The Blithewold Mansion
The Blithewold Mansion, Arboretum and Gardens is truly a spectacular and unique wedding venue that everyone should seriously consider. The mansion itself is absolutely gorgeous and the estate grounds are even better. So many gardens and trees, its easy to spend too much time exploring. Not to mention another perfect green lawn backing its way up to the ocean!
Ocean House
A true Rhode Island classic is Westerly's Ocean House. Perched at the top of Watch Hill, this top tier inn offers a perfect beach side wedding ceremony along with first class everything. The hotel is perfect, the beach is perfect so what more is there to need?
Belle Mer
A different take on the Newport wedding is Longwood Venue's Belle Mer. Right in the center of Newport, in the harbor on Goat Island, Belle Mer offers stunning panoramic views of downtown, the harbor and Jamestown. Take your wedding out to Goat Island where you can really let loose and enjoy your wedding!
